“Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another, as if we were one single tribe.”
That’s what this country used to be. And it’s what it must be again if we want to reach our full potential.
I was not trained as a politician, I don’t have university degrees, I even lost my Congolese passport due to prosecution from Mobutu. At first sight I may not be the most suitable person for the job. But I am. I am Bolikango. I inherited my grandfather’s dreams of united I served for 15 years in the army of the country that gave me a home as a political refugee. I am back now to help Congo make the dreams of unity, equality and prosperity come true.”
With your help we will restore our country to the shining beacon we know it can be. Now how we’re gonna get there isn’t a mystery. We will overcome our challenges with help from friends (Kivu), our family (Katanga) and our loved ones (Équateur).
The name Bolikango equals growth, strength and drive. I want to help to rebuild Congo to its former glory. To be the symbol of light and hope in these dark times.
We need to trust each other again in order to prevail. Because the only way that we’re going to turn our country towards the path to greatness is to do so together.
